Alessio is a Computer and Management Engineer with a strong passion for technology, research and innovation. He received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2019 and his Master's degree in Management Engineering in 2021, at the University of Catania. Since 2021, he has been a PhD Student in Computer Science, at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Catania.

His research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Deep Learning, applying the most innovative AI solutions in different fields. Since 2021, he has been part of the Image Processing Laboratory (IPLAB - iplab.dmi.unict.it), a research group active in the areas of Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Computer Graphics.

Since 2021, he has been part of EHT, as a member of the Research and Development Business Unit. As Technical Business Developer he is responsible for drafting, reviewing, managing and verifying the scientific consistency of R&D projects, as well as defining and assigning Work Packages, and verifying project Deliverables. Alessio is also responsible for drafting scientific papers on the results achieved in the specific project.

As Technical Project Manager, he is responsible for managing the project team, monitoring and controlling activities in order to ensure their consistency with the planned schedule.
