EHT develops a software platform to support the operational management of the integrated water utility.
The platform makes interoperable the services offered by the information silos generally used by water utilities such as: spatial information systems (GIS), remote control SCADA systems, and utility billing management systems.
This platform is opened to the integration of additional applications, which although their use is not yet widespread is expected to be soon, such as: asset management systems, maintenance operations management, IoT platforms for quantitative and qualitative monitoring of water distributed to users and effluent fed to treatment.
The integration between the different applications mentioned above allows the realization of advanced value-added services such as: joint water-energy balance of the water system, energy footprint per delivery point, active management of water losses, predictive maintenance of plants, real time control of the quality of water delivered to users, real-time control of purified water for its reuse in agriculture.
The demonstrator is implemented at several Water Service utilities such as Siciliacque, Acqua Campania, AMAP.
