C.I.R.M., the Italian Consortium for Research in Medicine, a non-profit organization, was founded on November 10, 1997 with the aim of developing scientific research projects, technological innovation and training.

The know-how of C.I.R.M. it embraces the areas of "Life Sciences", and promotes collaborations and synergies through the consortium tool of project sharing.

C.I.R.M. and a consortium recognized at an institutional level at European, National and Regional level. It is made up of public and private partners (IRCCS - scientific institutes), universities, organizations and associated partners of an industrial and technological nature.
